Holiday Look #3 | Tropical Print

Holiday Look #3 is also an outfit from Primark .. .*I'm thinking I should just go ahead and rename the series: Under-budget Holiday Looks really*

I love this skirt because it really can be worn for any occasion, all you need to do is switch up the accessories and you're ready for your Dinner date/a night out with the girls/shopping trip.

The day I wore this we had booked ourself a tour of the city. After we visited the beautiful Gothic Quarter, we decided to go and search for a good place to have dinner. We finally settled on a restaurant that was unexpectedly fancy. I don't remember the name (it might have been called Amaya ..not sure) but although it had a great atmosphere and the staff were brilliant, the food was slightly overpriced.

Meh, #TouristProblems | Apparently Michael Douglas had eaten there at one point, so that upped the price of our slightly average meal about €15

If I had known we were going out for a fancy dinner, I might have swapped my comfy sandals for these heeled red ones (shown below, also from Primark) and maybe also swapped the bag for a yellow or brown clutch.

Outfit #3 done! Hope you've liked this post and gone out and bought yourself an gorgeous 'all-rounder' skirt too. One more look left and then I'll be able to share something special with you ;)

Holiday Look #2 | Clean. White. Lines.

Holiday Look #2 is an all-white get-up that I think is pretty perfect for the gorgeous weather we've been having recently!

Each piece from this outfit is incredibly lightweight and obviously being all white, it helped keep me relatively cool whilst we were traipsing about Las Ramblas, getting lost and finding ourselves in various neighbourhoods.

So, the outfit deets:

... ..Everything is from Primark! lol Literally.
Granted, the quality could be better but there's always some good finds in there if you take the time to look for them.

Oh! There goes my favourite sandals again!

Don't mind us ..
Just chilling with the homie, Carlos :)

Thank you again for stopping by my blog, make sure to keep an eye out for the last couple of outfits for my Lookbook - I've decided to post them back-to-back.

Where are you going/have gone on holiday this year?? I've been making a list of the places I'd love to visit next so if you have ideas, do share ;)

Holiday Look #1 | Simple & Casual

The first outfit from my 'Holiday Lookbook' is really casual, just shorts and a white vest. I paired it with a white kimono that I thought spiced the look up a bit whilst still keeping it very simple. As it was really hot, the kimono was a nice cover up and extremely lightweight, so it could also be worn on the beach or even on a dinner date (...which is a look I'll be sharing soon).

Sandals | Primark . Shorts |  Thrifted . Kimono | Primark

These sandals have been my absolute favourite recently, I love the woven design and the exposed sides making it a kind of hybrid between shoe and sandal.

What have been your go to summer items?

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Blue Skies | OOTD

Hi all!

I'm very happy to say that I handed in my FINAL piece of coursework for uni a few weeks ago (woop!) so the next fantastic thing I had to look forward to was my first holiday abroad... Yes (believe it or not), my very first.

We went to Barcelona a couple weeks ago for a few days and it was definitely worth waiting for! Whilst there I couldn't help doing a bit of clothes shopping.. I picked up a lovely dress from Primark, and although I never wore it whilst I was abroad - as I tend to avoid wearing bright colours - I've worn it a couple times since coming back home.

For the most part I'm strictly a White, Black and Grey girl. Boring, I know. But THIS dress! It's a gorgeous cobalt blue, with a polka dot detail of a pastel blue which looks great in the sun. As it was from Barcelona, I'm not too sure if this particular dress is available in the UK stores.

You could also jazz up the outfit with a trench coat and simple heeled sandals.
I also bought this trench from Primark (UK). I feel so grown up in this coat, I especially love the faux leather sleeves that make a nice twist on the classic trench.

Also, I will be posting more holiday looks soonish, so do keep an eye out!

Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Wardrobe Staple: The Parka Jacket

I'm thinking about making this 'Wardrobe Staples' type post into a series for the blog.
For me, there's a few style staples that every girl should purchase and keep in her wardrobe forever because they will seriously look good whenever with whatever you put it with.

I think the Parka Jacket is one of those items that never goes out of style and always looks great during Autumn/Winter. Especially in the UK, when its cold for the majority of the year.

Sidenote: Yep, there will be more selfies in the future. I'm in my awkward blogging stage right now. I'm still trying to figure out my lighting, camera positioning etc.

Primark: Parka Jacket

H&M: leopard print pumps |  H&M: sheer top |  Primark: High-waisted black jeans

The selfie gave me the clearest shot of my outfit

I love Parkas. They look good on absolutely anyone, men or women.. slim or curvy.
I wear this particular jacket almost everyday. I'm not usually one for fur, but I feel like the faux fur hood adds a little 'something' to the jacket and outfit.

If you want, you can share some of your own wardrobe staples in the comments section :)
What are those items that you can't bring yourself to throw away?

Thanks for reading!
